Order Analytics

Order Analytics

The MarginDriver Order Analytics page is the most advanced tool in the app for digging deep into your order data and identifying orders by just about any criteria you would like.

Users are provided the typical MarginDriver suite of top-level filters and options including sales channel selection, custom dates and add/remove metrics. There are also options to view only today's orders (So Far Today) or to group orders by sales channel.

Order Filters

The filters for each data column are what allow users to create order profiles of endless varieties.

The user must click Apply Filters to activate any search/filter and Clear Filters return to remove all search/filter criteria.

Include Multi-SKU Orders: Checking this box will render results for all orders within the search/filter parameters including those with multiple different SKUs. Users may want to leave the box unchecked in order to get a more accurate picture of profitability and margins for individual SKUs.

Order Number and Order SKU utilize  Equals/Contains/Begins With/Between operators for searching and filtering orders.

  1. Equals: If you know the exact order number or SKU number you would like to view, choose Equals and enter it in the search box.
  2. Contains: If you know only a portion of the order number or SKU number, choose Contains and enter that text string in the search box to return all results that include that text string in some portion their order number or SKU number.
  3. Begins With: If only the first character or string of beginning characters is known, choose Begins With to retrieve all SKUs matching the leading character(s).
  4. Between: To search for a range of orders, choose Between and enter the low order number or SKU number in the From box and the high order number or SKU number in the To box. This will return all orders that fall within the specified range.

The remaining columns (with the exception of Distribution Center) use only the Between convention. All of these columns contain numerical data so filtering is simply done by entering the low value in the From field and the high value in the To field.

Distribution Center has a finite list of possible choices so it can only be filtered by choosing one of the available Distribution Centers (also known as Suppliers) from the dropdown menu.
